[29 Jul 2004|05:30pm] [ mood | bored ] Shmuks had practice yesterday. we learned 2 new songs. well mario, jimy and I(miguel) learned 2 new songs. im really liking all the new songs. we sound too melodic now. haha which is a good thing. Hmm no studio dates yet. we have about 12 new songs down. so if anybody sees us play anytime soon, expect a set of new songs. hope we can get more then 14 songs on the album. See ya! release show [21 Jan 2004|05:18pm] [ mood | bored ] [ music | anti-flag ] so did anybody check out the release show on saturday?? it was pretty cool. i think we did okay for not practicing in like 2 months. jimy sounded like shit. haha anyways good show. smells really bad at the drunk tank. but whatevers still had a good time. the scuffs played pretty good. cant say i remember how ragtime revolutionaries played. i didnt see no future play. societys parasites pretty much owned the night. the pit got a lil too crazy for me. i really dont think we will ever get a pit that big around here. we are not punk enough. so yeah coolest pit we got was at san pedro. damn that shit was fuckin big!! that was our first time playing there too. so back to the release show. we had to open up the show. which was no big suprise to me. something happend with TVT(the violent threat). they didnt end up playing at the last minute. which i think is kinda fucked up. anyways yeah drunk tank is cool. i dont think we are ever gonna play there again. ive asked them if we could play a show there but they just laugh. fuck it. well lets see when we have another show. maybe someone can take some pix of us playing. i had my camera but i didnt take any pix. just one of yoshio playing the bass before we left to the show. so yeah here it is: ( yoshio going emo ) 1 comment|post comment

[12 Oct 2003|11:03am] funanu so last nights gig was a waste of time. first off it took forever to find parking. once we did, me and val had to walk like 3 blocks back to the gig. went inside and damn it was really small. it was like a hallway. anyways i think like 3 bands played. had a lil fun. talk to some people. then the cops came and shut the show down. everybody got pretty mad. chilled outside for a while. i had to give mario a ride back home. he lives in fullerton. almost an hour drive. good thing val went with me. so out of 4 shows we are gonna play, 2 didnt go down. lets just hope our next 2 shows goes well! miguel shmuk 2 comments|post comment
